History of Morrill Hall

Morrill Hall was established in 1871, and it is now the University of Nebraska State Museum. It is home to a 40,000 item anthropology collection consisting mainly of natural history artifacts, but also exhibits like Miss Mie.

Goals for the Museum

Morrill Hall has goals of increasing knowledge of Nebraska's rich archaeological history, encourage STEM careers for Nebraska students, be an internationally known museum, and finally influence Undergraduate and Graduate students in fields similar to those of the museum staff. 

How to Help

Volunteers and donors have played a large part in the success of Morrill Hall. Participants must be 18 and over to volunteer.
