Kawasaki Reading Room
The Kawasaki Reading Room is located in the campus union of UNL. It is a center for Japanese studies, including tutoring, speakers, cultural outreach, crafting workshops, Japanese tea ceremonies, and more. Both students learning Japanese at UNL and Kawasaki Reading Room staff helped improve the Miss Mie Exhibit. Specifically, they translated multiple letters from Japanese into English for Morrill Hall. The reading room opened on October 24th, 1992.
